The Global Culinary Innovators Association (GCIA) was formally announced in Chicago at the Ritz-Carlton on May 17, 2014 during a reception co-hosted by the International Corporate Chefs Association (ICCA). The GCIA experienced significant growth in the first year hosting the Inaugural GCIA Culinary Combine in Seattle followed by the first GCIA Culinary Connection in Austin, Texas. Both events showcased the significant contacts at the association headquarters and helped to fulfill the intended mission of the board of directors.
