Chef Linton Hopkins opened Restaurant Eugene, an upscale dining spot that has gained him much notoriety on the Atlanta dining scene.  A few years ago, he decided to open a more casual spot, somewhere the neighborhood could gather for quality pub food in a small, relaxed setting.  The result was Holeman & Finch.  Inspired to create the best burger he could, Hopkins set out on a mission to create a purely from scratch burger.  The article link above breaks it down in great detail, he makes everything but the standard sliced American cheese in house. It is the best All-American burger I've ever eaten!  It seems so simple but it is not.  I also love the Carbonara, Georgia Shrimp and Grits, and the Blueberry Pork Belly.

The menu is a collection of house made charcuteries and regional artisan cheeses in addition to numerous small plates designed to share.  There is a revolving daily feature in addition to the hot and cold small plate selections. http://www.eater.com/2013/7/30/6395165/eater-elements-the-holeman-finch-burger
