  • Chef Hal Holden-Bache worked through a five diamond kitchen before heading to Nashville to open his own concept after falling in love with the city.  Lockeland Table is in a small, historic building in East Nashville.  The restaurant is small and inviting and has that great neighborhood feel.  Chef Hal brings southern comfort cuisine and classic American dishes to a higher standard here and his passion for Nashville and the food he procures really shines through.  Operating by the mantra "local isn't always better", he searches throughout the South and East as well as the local region to find the very best for his kitchen.

The restaurant serves dinner only Monday-Saturday, be sure to snag a reservation as they tend to stay busy all week.  It is hard to say what was my favorite dish of the visit but the smoke bone marrow was outstanding and the Crispy Fried Nashville Hot pig ears were excellent.  Hal's favorite dish on the menu is the Grilled Hereford Ny Strip and it was cooked perfectly.
