Beautiful location; reclaimed wood interior; wood-fired oven and turn-spit is the center of the restaurant and the focal point of the action. The bar is roomy and warm - I would definitely eat at the bar during my next visit. I was with a group from ICCA - at a table of 10 ppl. The service/wine service and availability of wine list uneven-- food delivery from kitchen was in stages. That being said, the food was well worth it and all salads; desserts also worth a taste.
While many chefs tend to over-season, I found a few dishes needed a tad more salt, which was not an issue and was refreshing to have great food that was not over-seasoned.I was also impressed with how everything was cooked- it is easy to overcook food in a brick oven or wood-fired spit and everything was cooked perfectly.
scallops and hangar steak - also at the table, did not taste, however the others in the group expressed they were excellent.
