  • Chef Philip Krajeck was raised in Brussels, Belgium next door to two Italian families.  It was here that he gained his love for fresh pastas and began learning his craft.  Rolf and Daughters is a mainstay in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville which in recent years has been an up-and-coming area to be.  The menu at Rolf focuses on local produce and proteins with twists on Southern dishes and New American cuisine and there is always a daily offering of his fresh pastas which have deep Italian roots.

The cocktail menu doesn't disappoint, it has a wide range of offerings and features ingredients that are making a comeback in big ways.  The wine list also features some excellent Italian choices to go along with the delicate pastas.  I personally loved the Nebbiolo Barbera blend.  The bartender was very knowledgeable about the menu and particularly the beverage menus.  The service was top notch and I liked the smaller, intimate size of the dining space.  Once the weather gets nice they open the front garden for dining under the market lights.
