Michelin starred Chef Saul Bolton of Saul opened The Vanderbilt in an effort to create a casual atmosphere with great food and to particularly showcase his house-made sausages. The Vanderbilt is a marriage between German beer garden and an American gastropub. They are offering spins on the traditional and beer pairings along with cocktails and seasonal, local, and sustainable dishes.
For the ICCA Spring Culinary Immersion, we spent a day exploring Brooklyn and the collection of unique concepts popping up everywhere. The Vanderbilt was our last stop of the day and the chef had organized a tasting menu with beer pairing for us.
