In 2015, Harbor Seafood partnered with Carrington Foods, a family-owned company rooted in Saraland, Alabama, to combine Harbor’s global seafood expertise with Carrington’s craftsmanship in value-added products. What began in 1971 with “Miss Sally’s Stuffed Crabs” has grown into a 50,000 sq. ft. facility producing over 1,000 items. From seafood specialty entrees and appetizers to all new soups, sauces, and non-seafood products, our reach continues to expand. Still family-led and SQF Level 3 certified, Carrington Foods remains committed to quality at a competitive price to meet the needs of our customers, making this partnership the perfect blend of tradition, innovation, and shared excellence.

What began as founder Pete Cardone’s small food brokerage on Canal Street has grown into a respected international import, sales, and marketing company. Today, we source responsibly from fisheries across Canada, Central-South America, and Asia offering a diverse product portfolio that includes crab, finfish, shellfish, cephalopods, and value-added items between both companies. These products are offered in food service and retail options.
