RusTeak is owned by two graduates of the CIA in New York and this is their second location in the Orlando area. They offer just over a 150 and 22 of these are offered by the glass. They also offer 45 different craft beers and 12 handcrafted signature cocktails that change seasonally. The menu changes monthly with daily lunch & dinner features focusing on local produce & sustainable fishing.
The Happy Hour is daily from 4pm until 7pm and features all of the wines by the glass for $5, all of the signature cocktails for $5, and a selection of small plates for, you guessed it, $5.
The menu is a collection of burgers, salads, sandwiches, apps, flatbreads, and heartier entrees. They feature a lot of Florida seafood items and staying with the trend they use many local farms and purveyors. The cocktails were excellent and at $5 we should've ordered one of each! The Strawberry Gin Jam consisted of Uncle Val's gin, triple sec, strawberry jam, muddled strawberries, and fresh lemon and lime juice served in a mason jar over crushed ice. The Bee's Knees was a twist on the classic cocktail using chamomile bitters and chamomile tea. The Ice Wine martini was very interesting but delicious: Russian Standard vodka, muddled red grapes, St. Germaine, fresh lemon juice, and a splash of malbec.
The Par Street burger was excellent: Angus beef, aged cheddar, maple-pepper bacon, caramelized onion-leek jam, toasted brioche bun, herb mayo, beefsteak tomato, and spring mix. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and flavorful with nice chunks of crispy bacon and a sweet maple glaze. The mussels were very fresh and were done in a white wine and garlic sauce with tomatoes and panko breadcrumbs served with grilled focaccia. For dessert we did the White Chocolate Blueberry bread pudding. Very moist and flavorful served hot with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a bourbon caramel drizzle.
