About GCIA and Membership
What is the GCIA?
The Global Culinary Innovators Association is an association designed solely for the Lead Menu developers from multi-unit foodservice operations ranking 201 – 400 in annual sales within the foodservice industry.
What is the purpose of the organization?
The primary purpose of our organization is to form a network of the nation’s leading new menu developers who are involved in multi-unit research and development and to provide education advancing both the individual and the corporation they represent.
What is unique about this chefs association?
We are a new association with an environment that is very appealing to a menu developer from a multi-unit operating company. Our events are smaller and more conducive to networking and best of all there are no trade shows, booths or selling at our events. Only members, select members of the media and a very small sponsor community are invited to our events. This provides the chef members with an environment that is casual and productive.
What kind of educational programs do you provide: The GCIA designs customized educational events where the members learn from industry giants while networking with peers and the leading foodservice manufacturers and commodity boards. The limited number of attendees at events create a unique atmosphere conducive to educational retention and networking.
Who is qualified to be a member?
Membership is restricted to only the highest ranking menu developer within multi-unit restaurant companies who rank from 201 – 400 in annual sales in the United States. This includes non-commercial operators, hotels, cruise lines and multiple concept restaurateurs as well. There are no consultants permitted to apply for membership – all members must work directly for the multi-unit operator. A membership form is available to fill out and apply for membership just contact the GCIA National Headquarters in Orlando, Florida at (407)539-1459 or fill out the form by using the link below.
