About To-Jo Mushrooms
To-Jo has always been a family-run farm focused on quality, food safety, service and the promise to treat its employees and customers like family. The D’Amico family started growing mushrooms in 1932 after purchasing a stone quarry in Avondale that happened to include a small mushroom farm. Although the business has grown since its inception 70 years ago, we will always be deep rooted in the family’s core values and will work to “leave the business better than it was handed to us.” Today, To-Jo is run by 4th generation owners Tony & Joe Jr. D’Amico who are driven to provide the highest level of service and forge strong relationships with their customers.
